Material introduction
Raw hides can be called leather after they are made into "cooked hides" through vegetable tanning. Leather tanned with tannins extracted from plants becomes vegetable-tanned leather. The vegetable-tanned leather that retains the original color is the leather that has not been dyed during the production process. This kind of leather has a light flesh-pink milk tea color, which can clearly identify various natural textures on the leather surface. Moreover, it has good water and oil absorption characteristics. In daily use, as time goes by, it will show different shades of color, and eventually, turn into a dark brown with a good amount of oil. This process is called by leather players-raising cattle.
